New fragrances for women out now 2012

You may already have your own signature scent but that doesn't mean you can't explore the olfactory delights of some of the hottest fragrances hitting the shelves this summer.

1. Especially Escada Delicate Notes, from £31 for 30ml
Based on the original Especially Escada fragrance, the updated version launched in June 2012, aptly named Especially Escada Delicate Notes, still focuses on the predominant smell of dewy roses but adds top notes of grapefruit to the mix to create a slightly citrusy twist. If you love the smell of scents such as Chloé or Jo Malone's Red Roses Cologne, then it's worth adding this floral fragrance to your wish list.

2. Dior Addict Eau Fraîche, from £35 for 20ml
Dior Addict was first launched back in 2002 and quickly became a popular fragrance. The designer house Dior has recently relaunched the fragrance with two new versions (Eau Fraîche and Eau Sensuelle) to give the scent a new lease of life. Our favourite from the three has to be the Eau Fraîche. Described as a sparkling cocktail of pink flowers and fruits, Eau Fraîche opens with citrus top notes, followed by delicate freesia and gardenia and, finally, finishing with a subtle white musk scent. This is predominantly a floral scent with a hint of zesty citrus.

3. Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Essenza, from £41.83
Freshen up this summer with Giorgio Armani's new floral fragrance Acqua di Gioia Essenza. The opening top notes of crushed mint leaves, lemon juice and pink pepper are followed by a sensual scent created by a three different types of jasmine - sambac, Egyptian and Indian jasmine absolute - and base notes of brown sugar, bourbon vanilla and cedarwood. It comes as no surprise that jasmine is the overriding scent to hit your olfactory senses. Giorgio Armani's new fragrance is a fantastic alternative to other jasmine-based scents such as Miss Dior Cherie or even Chanel No5.
