1. Blue large floral headwrap, £3.50

Vanessa Hudgen's floral headress was an ideal choice for the ultra-hip fashion fest at Coachella but you may feel a little bit silly wearing flowers in your hair on the tube on a Monday morning. There is another way you can work a headpiece without looking like an extra from the 60s musical Hair; try a floral headwrap such as this blue version. Wear it in a similar way to a headband and this colourful piece of fabric will both add a bit of colour to your outfit and keep any wayward locks off your visage. And if you're suffering from a bad hair day, you can always stretch the fabric out to cover up all of your hair. Add florals to your wardrobe without going the whole hog with a colourful printed headwrap.

2. Floral-print palazzo trousers, £24.99
As seen at Jil Sander, Stella McCartney, Richard Nicoll and more, we're in for a real pyjama party this season. Instead of dressing head-to-toe in the trend, why not simply take the idea of the ultra-comfy pyjama bottoms, throw in a floral print and create the perfect trouser to wear this season? Loose trousers such as this floral palazzo pair will take you from day to night. Wear with a simple plain vest and blazer during the day for an upbeat look for the office or a more spangly top and heels at night. It's a surefire way to work the hippy charm into your everyday wardrobe. Just don't wear plimsolls and a hoodie or you will look as if you're popping out down the shops for a pint of milk.
