The news that William and Catherine are expecting their first baby has topped off a wonderful year for Brits.
As the nation wishes Catherine a speedy recovery from her extreme morning sickness, we take a look at the months leading up to the big announcement through pictures that paint an extraordinarily happy story.

LOL....I've never heard of so much twaddle.........every gesture she/he made even before the pregnancy is supposedly unconsciously an insight into this new pregnancy...........funny that, I also do most of the same gestures and I'm past childbearing, and how many people ( young, old,male and female ) do you see hold their hands in front of them, does that mean they secretly are hopeful a baby is on the way. Like I said....a load of twaddle!!

Well I suppose it fills the white space this page would be if such ridiculous nonsense wasn't written Pam. What we must all be aware of is that this pregnancy is going to be the most discussed poured over and dissected from all angles imminent arrival of a new-born in British media history,. Well: Since the birth of it's father thirty years ago.
They'll be everyone from the TV Doctor to former Royal Nannies letting us know their thoughts on the matter. Then they'll be endless in-depth analyses as to the baby's likely character - Russell Grant has probably already been commissioned to draw up an astrological chart, which he'll be anxious to share with the credulous dim-wits who believe such twaddle.
Let us not forget the "fashionistas" here, who will be equally anxious to let all expectant mothers during the period leading up to birth of Baby Windsor have some insight as to the correct clothes to wear whilst pregnant and how in their opinion Kate is bearing up under the pressure of always having to look her best, even while she's carrying our future King or Queen.
The bookies are already doing a brisk trade on such odds as to the sex, hair colour and names to be given to the new Royal infant.
Yes! There's months of this ahead I'm afraid. Lorraine Kelly and all the other "loose women" and men in our media have something to talk and write about, other than themselves, for weeks to come.

What a lot of baloney!!!!!! Body language....seems to me you are interpreting some simple, every day expressions and some other 'social' expressions to suit the situation. What on earth would you say if she was not pregnant? How on earth do you interpret their 'personal' interaction with the public as indicators of 'their' pregnancy???? Sometimes a body position is just that....a position one stands/sits/walks that is comfortable.

I'm sorry but on picture 10 he's not looking towards her abdomen. His eyes are not that low and looking at something/one further away at his left. I wish they wouldn't try make everything fit, it's like bloody religion. Congratulations to they both, I think they are a beautiful couple together. I sincerely hope she doesn't suffer like my sister did when she had my nephew, she had constant 'morning sickness' 24/7 for the full 9 months. Good look Catherine and William.

As a American who cares allot for my distance cousins across the pond I hope Duchess Catherine is doing ok. My wife also went thru the same thing with her first pregnancy and as the husband u feel helpless as they go thru it, so Will hang in there. And CONGRATS to the royal family and to the Brits.

Yes, happy news indeed, but this is all too much too soon! The Royal Couple should have had more privacy for the early stages. Instead we are force-fed this over-the-top media circus.
I mean, the Daily Mail - 13 pages of coverage on Day 1 alone!!! Come off it!!
The way the newspapers are carrying on, you would think HRH Kate was the first woman in the universe to have ever got pregnant! We should leave them alone for now, the nation will have plenty of time to celebrate when the baby is due to arrive.

Is someone actually getting paid to come up with this rubbish! all lovely photos ,but the comments relating to them are so stupid. Wills & Kate are a lovely couple, great news about the pregnancy, but we all know now so can't they be left in peace. I don't mind not hearing anymore about it until the babys born and they can tell us all about it then. Unfortunately the media etc will go to town and thats all we'll hear about before its born and after.

It is easy to be comfortable with your loved one and the unborn in public when you know you will never have to worry about paying for anything and if your children will be a success in whatever they do no matter how badly they really turn out.
Real people have concerns over money to buy the essentials to feed their children - not what titles they will have.
When will this country ever grow up and live in the real world and leave the fairy-tale where it belongs - in childhood dreams.
