Biography: Rebecca Bryant
MSN shopping editor
Rebecca or Becs (as she likes to be known) began writing for her student newspaper, The Palatinate, while studying History with French at the University of Durham. Following three years up North and one glorious year spent in Paris, she decided to head back to London to carve out a career in fashion journalism.
Graduating a year later with a MA, passed with distinction, in this very subject at the London College of Fashion, Rebecca then went to work for the fashion photography agency Ellison Lee.
While she enjoyed the glamour of working with top-notch photographers, stylists and set designers, Rebecca's dream was not yet fulfilled so when the opportunity to become Editorial Assistant of a customer publishing magazine at Haymarket arose, she snapped it up.
Swapping print for online, Becs then went to work as shopping editor at orange.co.uk, where she discovered that she could literally shop for a living. Now editing and creating shopping content at MSN, she really feels that she has landed her dream job.
Besides splashing the cash and expanding her wardrobe, Becs also enjoys improving her rusty French language skills, ballet, cycling and running. A bit of an exercise fanatic, she has completed two marathons over the past two years (London and Paris) and is looking for a hat-trick in Amsterdam come October.
