It is no secret that a balanced diet packed with vitamin-rich fruit and vegetables will help keep you looking fit, healthy and gorgeous. Your skin, hair, nails and eyes – not to mention your weight – all benefit from exemplary nutrition. It should come as no surprise then that foods such as oily-fish, blueberries and broccoli are good for your appearance whereas excess salt, alcohol, trans fats and other nasty ingredients all do nothing for your glam look. Here is our list of foods that are good for only one thing – making you ugly.

A weight fain eh?
carryll is right. All this stuff is rubbish.
when I'm at work my lunch is chips and cheese. Even at school I avoided exercise. I don't eat "healthy" foods. I drink, I smoke on the odd occasion.
I am classed as medically UNDERWEIGHT. According to all these programs and lists about food I should be the size of a house.
What you eat has nothing to do with looks. It is your DNA and your genetic code that decides whether you are fat or thin or age quickly or slowly.
ok, so it may be bad for you.
but we only live once..
i know someone who isnt the best of eaters, but my god she's stunning, slender and healthy.
the causes of change in your looks normally are effected by DNA or the genes in your family.
enjoy life..
(but im not saying have a whole huge consumption of all these bad foods, but dont avoid them, because they are all yummy as a treat)
Many of the statements made in this article are quite extreme with no reference to scientific study. It is common sense to eat a balanced diet. I don't like articles that make claims about carbohydrates being "bad", many less educated/ impressionable minds may act on such a claim and cut out an entire food group which is unhealthy.
People should not take a journalists view on nutrition over their GPs. Sadly many people do and cause themselves much damages.
