Davina – Intense
This is another great workout from Davina but this time it’s based on interval training. So the good news is it’s shorter, but that means it’s harder and more intense. After the warm-up it’s split into three sections – Intense Cardio Box, Intense Toning and Intense Abs, then finished off with a cool-down and stretch. This means you can change it up every time to keep it fresh.
I must admit I wasn’t overly keen on the first track of the warm-up and found it a little cheesy, but thankfully the rest was better. Once you get into the three intense workout sections though you really feel the heart rate picking up and the whole body working. There are always two options to follow and they tell you to ignore the music and go as fast as you can so you can pick your own intensity, although personally I like working to the beat so found it hard to go out of time with the music.
My overall opinion is that it is a great workout and I really like the interval training because you can really push yourself knowing that it’s not for a very long time. It was also quite fun.
