More 'junk in the trunk', more 'bounce to the ounce', or however you want to describe a larger bottom - all you need to know is it is suddenly in fashion. This year, the bum to have is curvy, peachy and unashamedly large.

The bigger bottom has been dominating the red carpet in 2012- think JLo at the Oscars, Kelly Brook at the Cannes film festival and Kim Kardashian nearly showcasing hers to the world when her leather dress ripped at the zip just before she was due to appear on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show in Los Angeles with her sisters.

And filling out a dress correctly is not the only benefit of a big behind - researchers at Oxford University have found that storing fat in your bum, rather than your stomach cuts out 'bad' LDL cholesterol and raise 'good' HDL cholesterol which stops your arteries hardening.
