But please do no take advice from Jarvis Cocker or Amy Winehouse - not unless you want to attract attention for all the wrong reasons. But do take note of Dannii Minogue and Holly Willoughby's gorgeous style. As always, they are a step ahead of the rest.

Perhaps it's because the weekend is so close and yet too far away, but we're feeling finicky and finding every fashion fault and faux pas on either side of the Atlantic. The usual fashion forward London set appear to be raiding last year's wardrobes, while the Los Angelians just aren't putting in the effort. Roll on Friday, we say, and bring on some better dressed celebs!

It's a Battle Of The Sexes today as we introduce some severely stylish and some not so impeccably dressed hunks to compete with the ladies in our Hot or Not ranks. We've even thrown a bit of sibling fashion rivalry in the mix, as Paris and Nicky go head-to-head for our best dressed crown.

The force was not with the stars as they stepped out for the premiere of the new Star Wars movie, Clone Wars. But elsewhere in Hollywood, Lauren Conrad stuns us - by managing, for what must be the first time, to look worthy of her celebrity.

It might be 08-08-08 today, but there is also something unusual about today. It's the first time we have featured a record 11 celebrities in our famous Not section. But it's not our fault it they dress bad. Maybe they should take a leaf out of the books of Rumer Willis and Katie Price. Yes, you heard right.

There are a lot of celebrities making the Hot column today and we applaud that, but the ones making it into the Not column really need to employ better stylists. Quite a few seem to be taking inspiration from Ladies of the Night - and that is just not acceptable in Tinseltown.

We're disappointed to say that there are more celebs in our Not column than Hot today. But never fear, the celebs that got it right did so with aplomb and look absolutely stunning - even though the majority are in casual daywear. So take note Hollywood - you don't always have to dress up to look drop dead gorgeous.

The Teen Choice Awards in California threw up a lot of outfits for today's Hot or Not - and it really is a mixed bunch of fashions. Some pulled off their looks to perfection, while some really should have consulted their stylists (and a mirror) before leaving the house.

Another day in Celebland brings another day of hot or not outfits. Stars like Kate Hudson and Katie Holmes look effortlessly chic in their dressed down day styles - while try-hards end up failing miserably (mentioning no names, Kelis and Elizabeth Berkley). We can't wait to see what they end up looking like tomorrow...

We have to admit that we are a little jealous when celebs can just throw on a pair of jeans and still look fabulous! But then there are other stars who can spend all day getting ready and end up looking like a walking jumble sale - step forward Charlie Brooks! Well, at least it gave us all a good laugh.

The sun is shining, but it's not just the sausages and burgers on heat. It's the summer of love for our favourite celebrities and their blossoming relationships are having a brilliant effect on their fashion sense. Loved up Kimberly Stewart and Paris Hilton relish in their new relationship status' while mum-to-be Gillian Anderson simply glows. Big Brother reject Chanelle Hayes glows too - but that's probably down to her over use of fake tan.

It's midweek and while we all suffer at our desks in the roasting heat, wishing it was Friday, we bring you a host of hideously dressed celebrities to make you smile. And we bet Christian Louboutin has a big smile on his face - most of these stunningly dressed celebrities are wearing his trademark red-sole shoes. Even Jade Goody looks great in them.

We have a record number of lovely dressed celebrities in today's hot section - and we are very impressed. Paris Hilton, Blake Lively and Becki Newton lead the gorgeous girlies in the fashion stakes. But unfortunately, Kelly Brook, Janice Dickinson and Pamela Bach were left behind - probably to raid a bargain bin.
