Hi, Personally i think these 'shoes with studs&spikes!' are potentially very dangerous! especially if folk are wearing them in a crowded night club & they are on the dancefloor they could rip the ankles&legs! of other unsuspecting folk, also from a security & health & safety perspective they could lead to more harm if folk are ever kicked! with them or they are drunk while wearing them & god forbid they take a tumbel in the street or on stairs. So maybe allot more thought should go into the safety of the wearer & the safety of others rather than just trying to create a new trend that could do far more harm than good!. P, Mc from Glasgow

To be safe nowadays motorcyclists use body armour but back then we wore studded leather or cut down wrangler jackets Studs can be safe I once came off a motorbike and my studded jacket and belt saved me from gravel rash

This current stood/spike trend is hideous. It makes girls look like they've just stepped out of a Mad Max movie. Thing is, they probably know it looks hideous, but because they haven't got a mind of their own, they follow these trends in hope that they can somehow fit in. Get a grip; get a personality; get a sense of individuality - you all look, talk and act the same!

Hospitals will be crowded with women suffering from injuries from those shoes....they are lethal...wait till the drink and drugs take effect...and the cat fights start......it will be blood and gore everywhere...and some innocent person will have their face cut to ribbons....They should be banned

last night I was in stitches. one girl had on some mega high heels with a short mini skirt and was trying to cling on to her boyfriend (looks like first date) for her life. he on the other hand was trying to leg it, away from her. my poor girl was stumbling. oh the shame.

Many of hese hideous items of 'footwear' continue the mania for ugly shoes and boots which make feet look like house bricks, totally out of proportion to the rest of the body. I wonder, really how many of the wearers of these contrivances actually consider whether or not they look attractive to men, particulary when paired with equally hideous clothing? I am not advocating formal 'court' shoes or frumpy designs, but, as an artist, I feel that big feet simply look out of proportion to, often, extremely attractive female bodies. Please, girls, think about it and stop following silly trends like sheep - remember, the creators of these so-called 'fashions' are only after your money.

They look really dangerous and could easily be used as a weapon when the wearer is out on a girly night out . However my 14yr old daughter will adore them...She already has a couple of pairs which look similar minus the studs...I tried them on and must admit that the shoe boot design is extremely comfortable to walk in compared to the skinny high heeled pointed shoes I wore in my day..Next they will be designing fashion with knife blades...Now that would be a big worry...
