She might be on the cusp of the retirement age but Grace Jones is not a woman who plans to show any signs of stopping any time soon.
In fact, the statuesque singer, (who turned 64 last month) gave women a third of her age a run for their money during her performance at the diamond jubilee concert over the weekend. Not only did she look amazing in her flesh-flashing tribute to Priscilla Queen of the Desert - anyone that can hula hoop for four minutes non-stop deserves a medal.
And it seems that Grace isn't the only women on our radar who deserves a high-five for looking amazing and are similarly unwilling to enter to 'over 60s club' (whatever that might mean) and we are here to celebrate them.
Outshining actresses half their age, this group of lovely leading ladies show that they still have it in spades. Working the best of both worlds, their glowing skin and virtually lineless faces belie their years. Meanwhile, in their flirty fashion they simply ooze the type of confidence that only comes with age. Comfortable in their own sensational skin these women know how to strut it with style.

Although they all look lovely half of them are surgically enhanced ( Joanna, Helen and Judi are growing old gracefully ) so they are bound to look good really. So before anybody says im being bitchy, which i am not i am just being honest, i too am over 60 and dont think im doing too bad for it without the surgery.

You go Gracie. There is something really encouraging about seeing these women looking so well. Yes it could be said that they have had a lot of help in the form of plastic surgery, but there is also an element of living and eating well.
If there was only one thing to be taken from their youthful looks, for me it would be to remind myself that ageing can be about improving, growing and learning and does not have to mean physical or mental deterioration.
I say WELL DONE to all of them.

CHANGED MY HAIR COLOUR ON SATURDAY FROM BLONDE GREY, TO A RED, BEEN IN DOORS FOR 5YEARS, POPPED DOWN TO TESCOS, GOT CHATTED UP, SO GIRLS CHANGE YOUR COLOUR, BLONDES DONT ALWAYS HAVE FUN,. If I remember correctly Jane Fonda had two floating ribs surgically removed to give her a slimmer waist. This was at the time she was promoting her own health and diet DVD. Doesn't deserve to be on the list.

absolute rubbish....this is just what the government wants us all to believe so they can force us to work longer.....how many of these celebs have ever done a manual job where it wears you out......they all live the life most of us can only dream of....they have the best food provided for them....I am 58 and completely worn out......my face looks it's age and my body certainly feels it's age.....can't they come up with some better news than this rubbish....

Grace, in her own style, would still annihilate many the competition even today. She's to be inhaled as a breath of fresh air after some of the dross around today. 'Inhilated rhythm' still rings well in my mind, wonderfully rendered by Grace and the studio musicians and technician suit guys, whatever you'd call 'em. I always wondered, was that a typo; "Inhilated", but even so, in the realm of music, poetry, songs artistic license is generously afforded by an adoring fan of music, maybe my mistake the fault of memory, but I don't think so. Now they are calling it: 'Annihilating Rythm' or such U.S. spelling perhaps. Maybe that's what some more recent star has done to the original version, as with so many other star****. Heavens!... Look at those gorgeous, shiny thighs, it reminds me of a Grace Jones album cover of some years ago where she was all oiled up, her dark skin shining like a mirror; limbs pointing west, east, south, a famous and acclaimed shot. they couldn't believe I was 50 and how they thought I was much younger. Preening a bit,
I asked them how old they thought I looked ?

Why is it only celebs are the most beautiful,best bodies,best dressed?.I love to see my fav peeps on screen or listen to their music,but just because someone is famous and rich does not make them the best in the category of women.
We see beauties inside and out everyday.I hate that they are put on a pedestal because they are famous.I'm 51 years old and i would stand next to anyone because we are all beautiful,regardless

Plastic surgery may do it for the faces, but look at the HANDS.
As an over sixty woman, who looks after herself but doesn't try to hide her age, they have wasted their money if they want to fool people, other than themselves !

A healthy diet and a bit of exercise will keep anybody looking (and feeling) younger. If you have the time and inclination, look up the athletics world (or UK) best times and you will see that there are many men and women in their 70s who would put the vast majority of teenagers to shame.

If we shy away from saying this about Grace Jones when that is what many might be thinking we are then denying the famous what we would afford those not famous such as sharon who commented below. Having said that there are obvious cases where rather than Grace Jones here where it clearly IS solely due to fame and the publicity machine that stars sometimes not even famous are spoken of with such unworthy adoration.
