The stars worked the red carpet like a catwalk in London as they glammed-up for the Fashion for Relief Olympic charity dinner. Supermodel Naomi Campbell hosted the charity dinner and looked incredible in a floor-sweeping black Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 gown. I can fully understand why charities use wealthy celebs to promote their causes,as it's almost certain to gain the media exposure they so badly need...but don't kid yourself that these celebs really give a sh*t about the causes,they are merely in it for the publicity and rewards it brings...These wealthy celeb are falling over themselves to lend their names and images to these causes but run a mile when it comes to signing away any of their own riches...
The number one on the list of hypocrites has to be U2's Bono who constantly bangs on about saving the planet while his own personal wealth (estimated anywhere between 500-800 million quid) increases daily,is happy to blow millions on a spiderman musical and his hotel while thousands of kids worldwide still live in total poverty and are still dying through lack of food and clean water,he will happilly use them for publicity but not use his fortune to save them.
THE WAR ON POVERTYAND STARVATION CAN NOT BE WON......
UNTIL THE SUPER RICH GRASP THE CONCEPT OF SHARING.
