The 30-year-old kicked off her appearances at the central weekend festivities on Sunday at the Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pageant, dressed in a scarlet red dress by Alexander McQueen. Catching the eye of bystanders, Kate's gown certainly made an impression and perfectly complemented her brunette locks.

As everyone has pointed out, Cheryl has no talent whatsoever, she appears to be pushing in or trying to take over, who ever asked her to attend the concert is unbelievable, time she has some lessons in singing, it is high time Paul Mcartney stood down, he is a good musicion but the voice he never did have one he was really struggling,same with Elton his voice is slipping away and I bet they all say that they have a heavy cold or broncial problems an excuse for their voices, Tom Jones he was excellent pity he had not come on again and the choir were excellent, now Robbie Williams, god his face looked when he opened the show as if he had had a fix, looking at the young Musicions from Her Majestys Forces they were superb, Gary has done a good job in organising the evening he could have left a few of them as I have mentioned at home.

Elton John and McCartney are 2 great icons of the past and can no longer sing, they wasted an opportunity for some younger up and coming artists.
Cheryl Cole can`t sing either but is pleasing on the eye,she was only there to stick her face in front of the camera as many times as possible which was blatantly obvious.

You're right George. Count your "thumbs down" Bibi, then think again if "nobody likes" Kate. She's
beautiful, down to earth and kind. And many of us think she'll be the jewel in the Royal Crown.
Yes there are problems in the world, poverty and starvation. Of course that is sad. But there is a time for everything, a time for charity, a time for giving, a time for joy.... and the Jubilee brought joy to millions of ordinary people who's lives were made a little bit brighter for a few days.
I'm proud to be British and believe we have the finest monarch in history. There' s no harm in celebrating that and enjoying all it entailed. Reality will be back to bite us, soon enough.

It seemed strange seeing Cheryl Cole standing right beside the queen at the end of the concert. She looked good but really could they not have chosen someone who could actually sing well. Kate looked beautiful as usual wearing to most what might have seemed plain but the girl can wear a black bin liner and look gorgeous. Nobody was meant to outstage our Queen afterall. Our Elizabeth looked like a true monarch in her gleaming crystal hat. So regal. GBOQ....

Some people have to moan and groan, they are Misery Guts. They tried to do a concert to cater to the generations. I don't think they did that bad. OK some wern't great but so what!

Why was the talentless Cheryl TWEEDY at the concert in the first place she made herself a complete fool in front of the Queen proving yet again that she can't sing how many more times has she got to prove this.What the Queen must have thought of her is beyond belief as for what she was wearing you might just have put the clothes on a tailor's dummy nobody would have known any difference.

Kate looked lovely in her cream lace dress though she did look a bit too skinny. As for Cheryl why was she even asked... Was the jubilee paid for with public money?

First of all can I say musician is spelled with an A. I agree about P. McCartney and E. John they can't and never could sing and it was painful to listen to them and I never could stand Robbie Williams anyway but he did look High on something. The other thing that really spoiled it was having to endure the sight of 'That Woman' trying to ingratiate herself to the Queen.
I found myself filling up every time the Queen smiled she looked like a child who's birthdays had all come at once, so happy. I do hope the Duke is going to be alright it was a shame he missed the concert and the last day of the celebrations. As for who should follow her when the time comes, which I hope won't be for a long time yet. Well, it has to be William, with Kate by his side as Queen, most definitely. I apologise for any spelling mistakes I might have made.

William and Kate for king and queen Charles should stand down he is divorced married to a divorced woman look and Edward and Mrs Simpson. Also neither of them could keep their vows to their partners so what makes anyone think they will keep their vows to the people other than the pay is better. Can't say their morals would or should represent the church.

The jubilee was not paid for with public money the businesses in london paid for the flotilla. Gary Barlow was responsible for getting the artist together for the concert. I am not sure if they were paid and the Queen herself I think helped to foot the bill for some of it.
