For the past decade most fashionista's diaries have included two immovable foreign engagements - the biannual fashion shows of Stella McCartney in Paris.

Yesterday though, the fash pack didn't have to travel so far because for the first time ever, Stella McCartney previewed from her eponymous label at London Fashion Week.

The Saturday night 'special fashion presentation' was packed full of the celebrities including Rihanna showing off her fabulous looks in an emerald green frock and tweeting, "It's all about London right now!!!"

A couple of them do look ok, such as Rihanna, Jasmin and Kate Moss.  But, Sarah Hecks, if you really are fashion and beauty editor at MSN surely you can see how much of a mess Alexa Chung looks in that dreadful shapeless black sack of a dress.  And the thing Stella herself is wearing is far from stunning as you describe it.  I cant imagine any woman I know going out in either of them.  You would find better in Primark for eight quid !

Youcan't wear clothes inside your body though. And this industry in a multi-billion dollar one dedicated to showing off your exterior.

Emma Whiteley - she has a "career" not a "carer" (LOL)!
When  my father was working for the McCartneys, my father said that Stella was a bright, loving child who would go far on her own.

If it wasnt for Paul her father, then she wouldnt have a carer, not been mean, but its very true, am been honest, mind you i wouldnt mind a bit of her social life  Smile

hianna had some amazing tracks in her newest album, i reall enjoyed 'you da one' i thought it had a ver cool and relaxing flow which made it really good :) check out these guys their video is absoloutly hilarious, they're pretty up and coming but they could use some help, lets show some support just search  'birth day time.3p' in youtube, you wont be disapointed + it'd really help them alot, peace out guys

For me it's the interior rather than the exterior;Ti's all hype this fashion business! a money- making racket fuelled by a media circus of power; best think for ourselves,rather than let this avalanche of 'must wear' tosh overtake us: best do the mix and match charity' shop' take it from me ,nobody is any the wiser...... do we honestly look at labels? shoes are shoes!! frocks are frocks!!!
