The actress has put the gold and silver Prada dress on eBay to raise money for Oxfam.
The halter neck dress which was custom-made for her is covered in gold and silver metal paillettes and topped a number of best dressed lists (including our own) after she hit the red carpet wearing it.
The bidding started at $500 and is currently at $1,025. But with eight more days to go I’m sure it will find a new home and raise tons for charity. And even more generous all proceeds of the dazzling dress will go to Oxfam America. Good on you Carey!
This isn't the first time the petite star has donated a red-carpet dress to the charity. Back in 2012 she auctioned off her Vionnet gown that she wore to the 2010 BAFTA Awards, where she won best actress for her role in An Education.
If rumours are to be believed the Hollywood hunk is set to become the face of iconic fragrance Chanel No.5.
It'll be the first time in the French fashion brands 90 year history that a male celebrity will front their signature perfume's advertising campaign.
He follows a string of female beauties that have been the face of Chanel which include Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tautou.
Brad is said to be heading back from his holiday where he was celebrating his engagement to long-term partner Angelina Jolie, to shoot the campaign in London.
What do you think a man being the face of a woman's perfume?
Would you start buying Chanel No.5 just because Brad Pitt appeared in the adverts?
The Aussie beauty has revealed that she uses a tablespoon to curl her eyelashes!
In an interview with BellaSugarTV Miranda said that as a busy new mum she has had to change her beauty regime and now opts for quick fix solutions.
She revealed that after applying a coat of mascara she pinches her eyelashes between her thumb and tablespoon (yes you heard that correctly) to get a nice curled lash look if she doesn’t have her eyelash curler to hand.
The Victoria's Secret model also revealed that she uses rosehip oil to give her skin a boost. Talking about her skincare routine she said: “Now being a mother I don’t have as much time to spend on my skin. I like to wear rosehip oil at night. It’s full of that many antioxidants and it really works on a cellular level too to rejuvenate the skin. I put that on at night and I wake up glowing.”
Will you be heading to your kitchen cupboard for beauty alternatives?
Have you got any quick beauty fixes like Miranda?
Ab Fab actress Joanna Lumley has joined Marks & Spencer to launch their new Shwopping campaign.
A new M&S initiative aims to revolutionise the way we shop for clothes. The high street brand has launched a new eco-friendly campaign to encourage shopper’s to live more sustainable lifestyles by dropping an unwanted piece of clothing every time they buy a new one. They can do this through the 1,200 Shwop Drops which are being rolled out across UK M&S stores from today. The clothes will then be resold, reused or recycled by Oxfam and the money raised will go to help people living in poverty.
Talking about front the Shwopping campaign Joanna Lumley said: “I'm really excited to be working with M&S and have long admired Plan A. Their latest initiative, Shwopping, is all about getting customers to recycle unwanted clothes every time they shop at M&S. It's a big, bold campaign and a first for the high street.
“We're asking people to open their hearts, their minds and their wardrobes. Remember we used to just throw away plastic bottles. Now we recycle them without even thinking about it. We need to do the same with clothing. Bring in something old; buy something new. Swap and shop. It's that simple.”

It looks like TOWIE star Sam Faiers is a Victoria Beckham style fan.
The reality TV star was snapped wearing a near identical version of a cat print dress from Victoria’s Victoria by Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 collection. But at only £110 the dress from Celeb Boutique was a snip compared to £500 price tag of VB’s original.
Unlike the immaculate dressed Victoria, the imitation dress was ill-fitting on bustier Sam who wore it to a Cadbury Unwrap Gold party in London paired with tan suede boots.
Which cat print dress do you prefer?
Victoria Beckham’s original or Sam’s high street copy?
Will Smith's daughter shows off her funky new look in New York. But is it a bit beyond her years?
It looks like youngster Willow Smith won't be whipping her back and forth anymore as she goes for a dramatic makeover.
The 11-year-old singer who shaved off her long locks in February has been spotted out and about with newly dyed green hair. And to complete her funky look she wore mega trendy skeleton style shoes by Yohji Yamamoto for Adidas.
Keeping the rest of her outfit simple she wore skinny black jeans with a kimono-style jacket and Louis Vuitton handbag.
Eat your heart out Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj!
I think it's great that Willow is playing with fashion and trying to find her own style but at only 11-years-old should she really be walking around in six inch heels?
What do you think of Willow's style? Is her look a bit beyond her years?
Ladies forget visiting your hairdresser - roots are apparently back in vogue...
Admittedly, Ri-Ri is known for her hair-changing ways, flitting from a sleek black cut, to a red quiff, to a mop of brown curls in a matter of days. But we’re not sure her new 'do will catch on…
The Bajan beauty was snapped leaving a studio in NYC yesterday, sporting a very large section of dark root, which was contrasted by her blonde locks.
However, as her short dark hair was visible underneath, it's more than likely her questionable barnet is actually a wig but regardless if it is her natural tresses or not, we’re wondering if the singer is trying to kick-start a new hair trend.
2011 saw loads of celebrities (including Drew Barrymore and Jessica Biel) rocking the ombré colour trend (darkening the roots of your hair and leaving the tips a lighter shade to create a two-tone effect) but Rihanna seems to have taken the look to a whole new level for 2012 – an extreme ombré, anyone?
Whether or not you’re a fan of her hairstyle - you need to commend the girl for her creativity.
What do you think of Rihanna’s new ‘do? Will you be leaving your roots untouched like the singer or do you just think it looks lazy?
Today International Women’s Day is focused on equal pay in the work place but surely we still need to tackle sexism in the boardroom first?
Today is International Women’s Day and this year the European Parliament have dedicated it to the theme ‘equal pay for equal work’ owing to the fact that women in the EU are paid 17% less than men. Not only is that unfair, it is also illegal. One of the landmark successes of the women's movement of the 60s was the 1970 Equal Pay Act, prohibiting such discrimination. But the essential spirit of that law is still not being honoured in practice. To even get an equal pay footing, we have to deal with sexism in the work place first.
Even though I have never experienced it myself, I have certainly bore witness to a friend being subjected to work discrimination for well, being a woman...
She is a director at a very large tax firm and as well as being on less money than her male counterparts, 40-minutes into her end of year appraisal she was told that while she was thinking about which clients to target to build long-lasting profitable business relations, she should also remember that “being a good-looking woman has its advantages and disadvantages”.
The disadvantages apparently are that people will think she’s stupid. The advantages are that people will give her face time to prove that she’s not. The advice from her appraisers therefore, was to use that time well and think before she speaks. Only in a professional partnership would HR allow these people to be appraisers surely?!
Stats on women in the work place show that they are still excluded from top jobs. One recent survey found that of 2,742 board seats available in the top 350 companies listed on the London stock exchange, only 242 were occupied by women, and most of those were non-executive directorships.
Capable women are being overlooked for their male peers and it seems that the ‘boy’s clubs’ in business are still booming. This only demonstrates that not only are we get concussion hitting our heads on that glass ceiling, we're still expected to clean it while we're up there...
