Today is National No Make-up Day when women are encouraged to bare their fresh faces to the world.
In recent years this has proved controversial with beauty fans wondering what it is about their made up faces that is so wrong there needs to be a day when they go without it. Others, however, feel that it gives women a chance to face the world without hiding behind a mask, and embrace the opportunity to do just that.
So in celebration of being make-up free we've found some snapshots of some celebrities that have been caught barefaced to give you the courage to do the same. They're not perfect - just like us - but we think they still look amazing.
Ladies it's time to ditch the slap and celebrate your natural beauty (wrinkles and all) just like these stars.

Who on msn decided these women look great without their slap, the pics for most of them are horrific and they've mostly all got awful discoloured pimply faces and look as if they've had hard lives, white sticks and specsavers come to mind !

although it's nice to see celebs without the make up uniform they have to put on day after day in front of the camera, i don't seen the need by the MSN writer to make people who don't have 'naturally high cheekbones' and 'blemish free complexions' to feel bad for not being like that.
Surely we should celebrate our natural beauty, whatever we look like :)

All good and well, but they are still all wearing make up... mascara, foundation, blusher, lip colour and eyebrow pencil - that is still quite a lot of make-up. Without that they would look dramatically different.

I'd expect most of them to look ok as they are in their 20s or 30s.

Kelly Brooke and Jessica Biel are both definitely wearing make up! Kelly has eyebrow pencil and black eyeliner and Jessica has pink frosted lipstick so how is that sans make up? I can't see how Liv Tyler has a flawless complexion when you can see the almost pitted skin. The rest of them do look pretty good without slap though Just goes to show that nobody is perfect and I have seen prettier females working in shops and offices.

Also Liv Tyler actually looks pretty horrendous in that pic though I do much prefer a woman with less make-up. Though I think eye make-up is an essential for women, as it just highlights the eyes which can only be a good thing as that's generally where you look first provided you're not a total pig.
