She is famous for her glossy blonde do, which is always perfectly styled, but yesterday Amanda Holden showed off a dramatic new look at the first round of the Britain's Got Talent auditions in Cardiff.

Wearing this month's hottest hue, bright lemon, Amanda braved the winter chill looking fresh and summery for the show in a Versace dress teamed with snakeskin heels.

As any girl knows, a dramatic hair colour change must be done in stages to really work, and Amanda's hairdresser has gradually taken down her colour from blonde to brunette over a series of appointments.

Pictured back in October, Amanda's look is more mid-blonde with a series of lowlights run through her tresses, to tone down her highlights.

The look is a dramatic departure from her very blonde do at the beginning of the same month, pictured below.
