'Talk to younger children about what's on the agenda for today and tomorrow,' suggests childcare expert Katy Hayden from Tinies. 'Always remind them about what you're doing next, and give them time markers - for example, "We're leaving after you've finished your drink". This way, they are aware and understand, so you won't be delayed by a temper tantrum!'
